Increase mixer speed to high and beat for 2 minutes, scraping bowl constantly. Reduce mixer speed to low and gradually add pound cake mix in thirds alternately with milk and beat just until smooth after each addition. Transfer batter to prepared pan and smooth the top of the batter then tap pan on work surface to release air bubbles. Bake 50 to 55 minutes until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
